Next Board Meeting

Playground Balls Needed!

Basketball, football, soccer and tennis balls are needed for the playground. Jump ropes are also needed. If you can possibly donate any of these items to Emerald Heights it would really make a difference to our kids out on the playground! It is a small way to make a big impact, and would be very much appreciated.

Wednesday – Cinco de Mayo

Taco Meat
Hard taco shells
Flour taco tortillas
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Taco sauce
Shredded cheese
Chips and salsa

Friday – Thanksgiving Day

Salad
Stuffing
Rolls
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
Pumpkin Pie or other dessert
Green bean casserole or other veggie dish

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is fast approaching (May 7-11) and we need help!!! This year’s theme is “Every Day is a Holiday.” Each day will be a different holiday with different food. See below for the week’s schedule and food item suggestions. There are so many ways to help – decorating, donating food or drinks, setting up or cleaning up, or donating a raffle item. Any help big or small would be greatly appreciated!!!

Monday: New Year’s Breakfast – Food needs to be delivered at the school by 8:00 am

Muffins (3 dozen)
Yogurt (1 large box from Costco is fine)
Mixed Fruit or loose
Orange Juice box or can (2 dozen)
Apple Juice box or can (2 dozen)

Tuesday: Valentine’s Day Dessert Buffet – Needs to be delivered at the school by 11:15 am

Talent Show!

Come one, come all! It is time for the annual Emerald Heights Talent Show! It is THIS Friday, April 20th, beginning at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome and there is no charge! Bring the family for a fun evening watching the talent at Emerald Heights! Perhaps we’ll be seeing an upcoming American Idol? Find out and see for yourself !

Nominating Committee

General PTA meeting on March 22, 2012, right before the talent show. We will be nominating members who will be on the committee to help find new board members for school year 2012-2013.

Kitsap Family Fun Run and Fitness Fair!

The eighth annual Kitsap Family Fitness Run and Fair is just around the corner! This year, it is scheduled for Sunday, April 29th, from Noon-3 p.m. Any questions can be answered by visiting the Kitsap County Medical Society’s web page at: http://www.kcmedical.org/. From there, you can register online as well as print off the log sheets! Hope to see you at the President’s Hall!
